Salude&Trigu 2025 events tell the story of the area and guide you on a journey of discovery in the hinterland of northern Sardinia. Do you know Banari and its epic golden onion? Did you know that in Sennori you can listen to music in a quarry? Have you ever tasted the Uri artichoke?

A rich calendar of 100 events, scheduled from April to December 2025, will span 66 municipalities and lead you through the most captivating corners of Northern Sardinia.

Imagine a parade of men and women dressed in traditional Sardinian costumes, walking through the streets of Italy’s major cities — Rome, Naples, Milan — amidst the awe and excitement of the “mainland” crowd. This was Sardegna in Viaggio, a campaign created by Visit Italy to showcase Salude&Trigu and share with the world the beauty and uniqueness of Sardinia.

The journey began, not by chance, at the Nuraghe Santu Antine in Torralba, and concluded in the world’s most iconic square: Times Square. There, a large-scale projection of the campaign’s most striking images captivated tourists from every corner of the globe as well as New Yorkers themselves.

Archaeology, breathtaking views, typical dishes. To really get to know an area, you must learn to explore every aspect of it. The travel itineraries created by Visit Italy and Salude&Trigu will take you on the roads less traveled in Sardinia.
