Until July 27, 2025, in the heart of Rome, an extraordinary journey awaits art and dream lovers: the Museo Storico della Fanteria, in Piazza di Santa Croce in Gerusalemme 7, is hosting an unmissable exhibition dedicated to the visionary universe of Salvador Dalí. Sponsored by the Lazio Region, Roma Capitale - Assessorato alla Cultura Italia and the Oficina Cultural de la Embajada de España, the exhibition presents about 80 works, many of them exhibited for the first time in the capital, from private Italian and Belgian collections. Drawings, sculptures, ceramics, engravings, books and photographs lead the visitor into a world where the boundary between reality and dreams dissolves. Also enriching the itinerary are works by García Lorca and Miró, who shared an idea of free and dreamlike art with Dalí. A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the surreal and fascinating dimension of Spanish twentieth-century imagery.

9. Festa de Noantri in Trastevere

Festa de Noantri Trastevere

In the heart of Trastevere, from July 16 to 30, the Festa de' Noantri is celebrated, one of the most beloved traditions among Romans. Originating in 1535, when some fishermen found a statue of the Virgin Mary at the mouth of the Tiber, the festival pays homage to the Madonna del Carmine, affectionately known as Madonna Fiumarola. The highlight is the solemn procession through the streets of the district, amid singing, lights and devotion, to the Basilica of San Crisogono. The following Sunday, the statue travels along the Tiber on a boat, in memory of her discovery, before being welcomed into the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Between musical events, theatrical performances and food stands, the festival becomes an exciting journey into the true Roman soul. It is an invitation to discover an authentic Rome, made of faith, history and conviviality. Participating in the Festa de' Noantri means feeling, for a few days, part of one big family.

Summertime 2025 at the House of Jazz

From June 6 to August 7, 2025, Rome's Casa del Jazz is transformed into a sonic oasis with Summertime 2025, a festival celebrating contemporary jazz in all its forms. In an intimate and green atmosphere, big international names such as Herbie Hancock, Branford Marsalis, Stanley Clarke, Shablo and Meshell Ndegeocello will take turns on stage. Some special events will also be held at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. From June 1 to August 29, 2025, the Rino Gaetano Arena Park (Nomentano Park) hosts the Aniene Festival, with 90 free evenings of music, theater, dance and workshops. Each day has a different theme: jazz, theater, swing, concerts, talks and DJ sets, in an inclusive and lively atmosphere. There is no shortage of food area, games, craft market and activities for young and old. Even at Ferragosto, the festival enlivens the Roman summer with special events, confirming itself as a cultural reference point for the whole city.
