What makes an evening at the Verona Arena deeply different from any other theatrical performance in the world is its extraordinary ability to embrace the audience. This is made possible by the imposing three-dimensional stage sets, created specifically for each opera: not simply backdrops to the artists, but an integral and active part of the indescribable atmosphere experienced while admiring a performance in this extraordinary architecture.
The Arena is history and tradition, of course, but also absolutely present and future. For the next 2026 edition of the Opera Festival, the expert use of innovative technologies, projections and lighting design systems will transform every evening into a complete and immersive sensory experience. A synergy between the dynamic visual effects and the natural amphitheater's perfect acoustics, that maximizes the artistic emotions that only the most beautiful operas in the history of the theatre can convey.
Whether it's the futuristic lights of Poda's Aida, the Parisian warmth of La Bohème, or the spectacular 3D projections for the musical event dedicated to Vivaldi, spectators at the Arena are never just passive observers. They are literally took into the onstage narrative, surrounded by art, music, history, and the visual magnificence of an exceptional venue.
