Motor Sports in Italy: International Bikers Fest in Lignano Sabbiadoro, on May 18/21

If you love two wheels more than four and seaside atmospheres, then Lignano Sabbiadoro is your place! Here is the International Bikers Fest, one of the largest motorcyclist gatherings in Europe, now in its 37th edition. The city dedicates five areas to the event, all with free admission! With its 8 kilometers of beaches and promenade, perfect for any outdoor activity and for enjoying the first sunny days, Lignano becomes the capital of bikers and of the "custom" world. Motorcycle test rides in the Teghil stadium area and music on the beach complete the party.
Motor Sports in Italy: 60 years of Lamborghini in Bologna, on May 24/28
Emilia is the land of engines for excellence. Here are, in a patch of land, the factories that have inspired the Italians' passion for cars: Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Ducati and Lamborghini. This last one celebrates 60 years since its foundation and there are many celebratory events, but the clou is this month in Piazza Maggiore in Bologna from 24 to 28. If you want to continue the celebration, there are two museums that you can visit: the one dedicated to the brand in Sant'Agata Bolognese and another dedicated to the founder Ferruccio Lamborghini in Funo di Argelato.
Aprilia All Stars at Misano, on May 27/28
If you are a fan of the Aprilia brand, Misano will welcome you with pleasure on the last weekend of May. The circuit in the Romagna town opens its doors to fans and official Aprilia Racing riders who compete in the MotoGP and Superbike. "Aprilia All Stars" is a party for fans with free admission and fun, with shows on the track, riding lessons, games and music by Radio DeeJay and M2O. Then, on Sunday, you can live the dream to ride on the Misano track alongside the Aprilia riders.
World Championship Superbike at Misano, 2/4 June

It's time for the Emilia-Romagna GP of the FIM Motul World SBK, the fifth round of a season dominated by the "reds" of Borgo Panigale: the invincible Ducati!

From the sea to the hills of one of the lungs of Italy: Mugello. Here you can watch from 9 to 11 on June the Italian granprix of MotoGP, run on one of the most beautiful track in the world, and Ducati is always on shields with world champion Pecco Bagnaia. To muffle the roar of the engines, you have to know that all around the Mugello is a pleasant and restful landscape, dominated by olive trees and vines (as in all of Tuscany) but which here is completed by centuries-old fir trees. If you are a motorcyclist, you must tackle the Passo della Futa (SS65), one of the most loved by bikers fans, and cross the bridge over Lake Bilancino and then descend towards Fiesole.

Just three editions and MIMO ‒ Milano Monza Motor Show ‒ has been able to carve out an important role for itself in the national motoring events calendar. It attracts crowds of enthusiasts, who can see the most beautiful cars in the world in a large exhibition hub that runs along Piazza Duomo in Milan, while in Monza it is possible to have a test drive of the cars on the track and even drive along the famous "sopraelevate" of the Brianza track. And for the younger ones, many simulators to experience the thrill of driving a Formula 1 single-seater. Not to be missed!
Vespa Club meeting in Valeggio sul Mincio, 25/26 June
The most desired and also the most emulated in the world. The Vespa is the true symbol of Italian motoring history and has been embodying the dream of trans-generational mobility for almost 80 years. There are many rallies dedicated to her, in mid-June there is the international one in Switzerland, we point out this one in Valeggio sul Mincio on 25 and 26 June, with many bikers hotels available. 40th Fiat 500 International Meeting in Garlenda, 7/9 July

The meeting point is in Garlenda, in the province of Savona, that hosts the 40th International Meeting dedicated to the Fiat 500 and the "500 Comics Exhibition" at the 500 Museum. Organized by the Club Italia of Fiat 500, which has over 21,000 members , the event is an opportunity to visit the castle of Garlenda, also known as Meridiana, and the Villafranca park. And if you love the sea, you can know that Garlenda is close to the three splendid Ligurian cities of Albenga, Alassio, Andora.
Formula E in Rome, on July 15/16
In Rome in mid-July the Formula E e-prix is held on the Eur street circuit. Double races, on Saturday and Sunday, of the championship dedicated to electric single-seaters and now in season 9. Lots of things to see in the most modern district of the capital , the Eur lake and the beautiful Waterfall Garden are refreshing in the mid-July heat, but you cannot miss the Obelisk dedicated to Guglielmo Marconi and the Cloud by Massimiliano Fuksas. All very modern, as the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, but the center of Eur is the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, which was to be the fulcrum of the Universal Expo in Rome 1942.

Moto Guzzi Open House, Mandello del Lario 7-10 September ‒ This is the annual special event for Guzzisti from all over the world: the great gathering in Mandello del Lario, the historic headquarters of the Eagle House. This year it is held from 7 to 10 September and, as always, the recently renovated Moto Guzzi Museum and the wind tunnel (one of the oldest in the world), which overlook the eastern branch of Lake Como, will be open.
