Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is the most prestigious showcase and the world's leading exhibition for the professional cosmetics and beauty industry. Cosmoprof salons and its network
Cosmoprof's offer includes three international salons that open to the public on different dates: Cosmopack is dedicated to the cosmetics production chain in all its components; COSMO Perfumery & Cosmetics provides buyers, companies and distributors with the latest developments in the field of perfumery and body care for the retail, prestige and masstige channels; COSMO Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon is designed for professional operators in the hair, nail and beauty/spa world, with proposals from the best companies supplying products, equipment, furnishings and services.
Cosmoprof, moreover, does not stop at the city of Bologna alone and has extended its network worldwide: Cosmoprof North America, Cosmoprof India, Cosmoprof Asia and Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN were born over the years.
The numbers of Cosmoprof
The last edition, in 2019, counted 3033 exhibitors from over 70 nations, more than 260,000 visitors from the cosmetics industry from 154 countries (+10% from abroad) and 200,000 square metres of exhibition space. Among the stands, it is worth highlighting the presence of the Country Pavilion, where small and medium enterprises with a strong local identity, from various countries around the world, present their excellence and traditions.
Next scheduled editions
Due to the uncertain situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the 53rd edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has been scheduled for 10th to 14th of March 2022. For 2021 Bologna will host a new event, from 9th to 13th of September, designed to be a first step towards the restart of the beauty sector. Another major innovation is the brand-new WeCosmoprof International format, a digital event that from 7th to 18th of June will offer a business and networking platform aimed at encouraging interaction between international stakeholders and will involve exhibitors and visitors from all the Cosmoprof network exhibitions.
