- Opening and closing times are subject to change during special events at the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and the Archeological Area (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill)
- Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sundays and public holidays of the Vatican City
- The Metro B Colosseo stop is not recommended. Instead, take any bus or tram to Piazza Ara Coeli, near Venice Square
- Large bags, suitcases, pets, selfie sticks, alcohol, drugs, umbrellas, and smoking are not allowed
