Madonna di Campiglio is located at an altitude of 1550 metres and is organised with 150 km of ski slopes, 40 km for cross-country skiing and 3 snow parks. It is located in a natural basin with various refuges, mountain huts and lakes and in every season it will amaze you with the beauty of its landscapes. It is among the most popular resorts for VIPs who choose where to ski in Trentino and is the meeting place of internationally renowned athletes for their training sessions. Its Pinzolo-Campiglio Express cable car has 4 stations with arrivals at intermediate altitudes. The most admired and practised is the 3-Tre slope (3 Gare del Trentino) near the mountain of Canalone Miramonti where the World Cup special slalom is held. The Spinale direttissima slope is also loved, for it has a very steep slope in the final, up to 70%. Here you can spend a glamorous holiday with endless opportunities to relax and try snowshoeing and ski mountaineering routes.

What to do in Canazei

The snowpark with trampolines in the snow and a half-pipe course is certainly a big attraction. The nightlife is also interesting and completes the ideal holiday for every mountain lover.

The Canazei ski area is part of the maxi Dolomiti Superski area, which includes Belvedere, Col Rodella, Marmolada and Ciampac.

To ski in San Martino di Castrozza

To ski in San Martino di Castrozza

Skiing in Trentino in San Martino di Castrozza, with 60 km of ski slopes and 9 km for cross-country skiing divided into 3 loops, will amaze you. It is renowned among tourists all year round as a gem in the Dolomites and also appreciated for its hospitality. This is the most southerly location in the Dolomiti Superski area, so it enjoys temperatures that are not too cold and sunny days that make you appreciate the panorama that surrounds it. The slopes will please all skiers, from beginners to professionals, but also those who want to practice on ice. The ski lifts are located near the village centre and can be reached by a free ski bus.

An offer of 62 km of slopes, some illuminated at night, divided into 23 blue, 17 red and 4 black slopes. It is a unique experience that will satisfy those who choose Trentino as their skiing region. The area is connected to Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, and it is all accessible by skiing. You can get to Folgarida with the Dolomiti Express, a train that travels through Val di Non and Val di Sole: at the arrival station you can board a cable car that takes you directly to the top.

The activities surrounding skiing are attractive: the Mazinga Park snow park, two cross-country skiing centres, toboggan runs and an ice palace.

This ski area, being among the most modern, is very popular among those who choose where to ski in Trentino. It consists of 50 km of slopes for all levels of preparation and difficulty, including children, and is located in the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park. It is the ideal destination for skiing and snowboarding, constantly groomed with artificial snow. Cross-country skiing is suggestive: a 3-km ring that is illuminated at night and a 5-km ring that crosses the forest. Among the other activities on offer, the most popular are snowshoeing, ski mountaineering routes, ice climbing courses and ice skating.

Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area

Ponte di Legno is located at an altitude of 1258 metres. A cable car allows you to reach Passo del Tonale at 1884 metres in a few minutes and from there you can enjoy the 100 km of slopes. Themost loved slope? The black Paradiso one, which is 3 km long and has an altitude difference of over 700 metres, reserved for the most daring! The area offers many leisure possibilities, in addition to the various winter activities: snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, quad biking, glacier skiing. It is the ideal place where to ski in Trentino all year round. The Presena Glacier lifts operate in both summer and winter.

To ski in Pinzolo

Pinzolo is a holiday resort located at 770 metres. It is not one of the largest ski resorts but has 30 km of well-groomed ski slopes and 5 km for cross-country skiing. The facilities are modern and even have a treadmill for budding skiers. It will satisfy beginners as well as experienced skiers: these ones compete on the 2.6 km long Tulot Audi quattro® slope with a difference in altitude of about 900 metres.

Snowboarders choose Pinzolo as the place where to ski in Trentino because of the well-structured snowpark and the connection to Madonna di Campiglio and its snowpark Ursus. It is also possible to go snowshoeing or take a scenic paragliding flight.
