Description
A few kilometres from Rome, you can lose yourself in the immensity of the Ostia Antica Archaeological Park. The site contains the remains of what was once a thriving commercial port for several centuries. Tickets to the Ostia site allow you to visit an ancient necropolis with tombs from the 2nd century. Admire the remains of a Roman theatre that held up to 4000 spectators, and the splendid mosaics and frescoes that adorn the walls of the Baths of the Seven Wise Men.

- By bus: From Porta San Paolo (Piramide), San Paolo or Eur Magliana
- By train: To Ostia Antica stop, cross the pedestrian bridge and follow the signs
- Small dogs are allowed; must be kept on a leash.
