Giardini Pistola, Masseria Maccarone, Contrada Carbonelli, Fasano, BR, Italia

  1. Briefing at Masseria Maccarone
  2. Departure from Masseria Maccarone.
Your journey starts at the historic Masseria Maccarone, the 17th-century fortified masseria originally built both as a production center and a stronghold to protect the harvest and workers from pirate raids. Our team will guide you through a private briefing on mastering your vintage Fiat 500, ensuring you’re ready to command this classic icon with confidence.
  3. Stop by Lama D'Antico Park's Gate
The road leads you to the gates of Lama d’Antico. Between the 10th and 14th centuries, an entire community lived, worked, and worshipped here, carving homes and majestic churches directly into the soft calcarenite rock
  4. Stop by Dolmen of Montalbano
Standing for nearly 4,000 years, this megalithic structure dates back to the Bronze Age. Used for funerary rites, it consists of massive stone slabs balanced with prehistoric precision. It is often called the "Altar of the Giants" by locals, serving as a powerful reminder that this land has been considered sacred since the dawn of human history.
  5. Stop by Pettolecchia Fortress
As you drive toward the coast, the imposing Pettolecchia Fortress rises from the landscape. These 15th-century towers were built to scan the horizon for Saracen sails; when a threat was spotted, fire signals were lit to warn the inland masserie.
  6. Stop by Car Park on the Sea
The countryside gives way to the scent of salt as you reach a shining beach overlooking the Adriatic. Here, the brilliant blue of the sea meets the horizon, providing a moment of pure serenity before your return.
  7. Stop by Egnazia Archeological Park's Gate
On your final leg, glide past the majestic gates of the Egnazia Archaeological Park. Once a thriving maritime hub of the Roman Empire, the ruins include a forum, an amphitheater, and ancient tombs. It was the last major stop for Roman travelers before they set sail across the Adriatic.
  8. Arrival at Masseria Maccarone
Return to the sanctuary of Masseria Maccarone. Take a final moment to soak in the atmosphere of the estate and snap one last photo to commemorate your vintage quest through Puglia.
