We will meet at the fountain, we will have our aroma wheel in hand

We start our journey through Italy with the title "Dolce Vita" in Sicily, on the island of Pantelleria, home to one of the most famous dessert wines, Passito di Pantelleria.

 

We then move on to discover the diversity of indigenous grape varieties for sweet wine, from central Italy to the north. Passito wines are sweet wines with a high residual sugar content.

 

It is interesting to observe how their production and consumption are inversely proportional to their fame and history: They are wines with a long history that have accompanied humanity since its beginnings. In ancient times they were sacrificed to the gods, in modern times they are kept for special occasions.

 

Precious wines, bearing the stamp of sanctity, rarity, greatness and exclusivity, have always been at the centre of a community's life, diet, culture and religion.

 

Each wine tasted will be accompanied by gourmet chocolate to make the tasting even more complete and satisfying under the motto "Enjoy life's sweet"!
