Thermal Baths in Aosta Valley: QC Terme Pré Saint Didier

QC Terme Pré Saint Didier

QC Terme Pré-Saint-Didier is located at the foot of Mont Blanc in the end of the valley, near Courmayeur: the building dates back to 1834 but the beneficial properties of its waters, which flow from the mountain at a temperature of 36 degrees, were already known in Roman times. Recently the structure has been restored to bring back to its ancient splendor what was a coveted destination of nobles and famous people, first of all members of the royal family.

A large outdoor area houses three thermal pools with hot water in which to relax in the heat even when it snows outside: in the garden there are saunas created in wooden huts, with panoramic windows that frame an enchanting landscape dominated by the majestic silhouette of Mont Blanc.

Inside, the spa offers whirlpools, relaxation tubs with underwater music, toning waterfalls, aromatic steam baths, mud area, chromotherapy and aromatherapy rooms, panoramic relaxation rooms and a wide choice of massages and personalized treatments. The sensory baths and saunas are made of natural wood and stone; the Kneipp path, Vichy showers and foot baths allow moments of relaxation that revitalize body and mind.

Saint Vincent Thermal Baths

Saint Vincent Spa

Ph by La Via Delle Terme

Saint-Vincent is located in the eastern Aosta Valley, in a good position to reach the Val d'Ayas and the Valtournenche: this city is famous and frequented especially for its Casino, one of the largest gambling halls in Europe, but also its hot springs are a precious attraction.

Compared to the thermal baths of Pré-Saint-Didier, the thermal baths of Saint-Vincent have a more recent history: the spring, discovered in 1770, was called Fons Salutis for its particular healing properties indicated for digestive disorders and skin care, from beauty treatments to therapies to relieve ailments such as psoriasis and dermatitis.

In 2007, next to the original spa, a modern spa was added: located in a dominant position overlooking the valley and the amphitheater of the surrounding mountains, you can spend relaxing moments in a very suggestive panorama.

In the SPA there are three indoor and 2 outdoor pools, each with different proposals of whirlpool and water jets, as well as 2 saunas, three whirlpools and a relaxation area on the panoramic terrace, open all year round depending on weather conditions.
